
McDonald's Canada Reel
ROLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND LEAD MOTION DESIGNER
This is a short reel of some the work I did for McDonald's and McDonald's Canada in 2014. The role called for a fairly even balance between Graphic Design and Motion Design and so I was tasked with designing several multi-screen menus to be used in-restaurant, as well as several multi-screen promos, advertisements and takeovers that would play over the menu screens intermittently throughout the day to highlight deals and new menu items.
I'll speak a little broadly as this is a body of work vs. a singular project: The work I created for McDonald's and McDonald's Canada was very interesting as you could see in real-time how these takeovers and promos drove sales and interests in specific products of the menu instead of just metrics on an ad management page. Every project had an interesting niche of the McDonald's branding to stay true to while also being eye-catching and appealing, which provided interesting challenges and I feel even more interesting outcomes as a result.
